The Quest ECSS
Human Trafficking
Location:
Central city
Controlled:
Local Police
Situation: In Central City, a house on a main road held 12 children aged 9 to 12 in fair condition, but they were being starved and confined to individual, locked rooms on two floors. Two guards were present, and while the location was accessible, several routes out of the city were available. We had secured a safe house within the city due to government officials’ tight control over traffic.
Plan: We decided to extract the children using three exit vehicles, transporting them to the safe house where they would be checked, fed, clothed, and briefed on the situation and next steps. We chose to execute the plan late at night to avoid traffic and minimize encounters with civilians. The guards usually slept during this time, with one stationed at the door and another inside. Our team would position themselves discreetly, with volunteers on neighborhood roofs and a teammate on the ground for updates. Once ready, a teammate would neutralize the guard just inside the door, allowing others to enter and subdue the remaining guard. The transport vehicles would then approach the front door, the only exit. Inside, the team would eliminate any remaining threats. Two female teammates would guide the girls to the transports, which would then depart separately for the safe houses. Throughout the day, the children would leave the safe houses in small groups and meet up near the mountains outside of town. A small bus would then transport them to their new homes.
Executed: The operation went precisely as planned. All 12 children were in adequate condition to travel and were successfully transported to their new homes. They have since been excited and happy in their new lives.
