Just a update where we are today. We consider this a mission.

We were ready and eager to begin another rescue, but I was informed that a few (4) of our children required surgery. That responsibility fell to me. I gather the donations and decide where they must go. These surgeries were not matters of immediate life or death, but they carried their own weight. How does one measure the value of simple things like walking freely or speaking clearly. For these children, even appearance carries meaning. Not beauty, but the chance to move through the world without being marked as different. They have endured brutality beyond measure. Beatings and neglect leave lasting impressions on the body, and untreated wounds shape them in visible ways. Once they are safe, the emotional weight of all they have endured begins to surface. I hope that is understood.

Current rescued and safe as of this date: Total: 3662
